An excellent but small centre for Innu, innuit first settlers and more in regards to Newfoundland and Labrador. There's a lot of history with more being added and one of the last, if not the last, seal skin kayak. The staff is incredibly friendly and the location is beautiful!

Did you know that there are 2 distinct indigenous languages in Labrador? I didn’t know either, and now I have learned that fact plus so much more after yesterday’s visit. Did you know that the early trappers would fill the dolls with tea bags in order to carry the tea safely and to fill out the dolls? These “Tea Dolls” are on display complete with their story, and how, when the tea was used up then the dolls would have local replacement stuffings. So much information AND take time to open the many drawers with the descriptive papers to learn about the historical tools and utensils. Definitely worth the trip and staff were wonderful!

The exhibit was excellent and was set up in a way that was informative and fun to read. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly and there is an amazing view from the top floor, which can also be accessed by a very short hike from the parking lot. A must stop if you are in the area.

Wonderfully laid out with interactive and interesting exhibits. The location is stunning and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. It's worth more than one visit, and it'll only improve when they put in their cafe.

Very interesting compact museum explaining the Innu life in Labrador. The main exhibit is very well done and maintained, and Sheila and the other ladies could not be more friendly and helpful. The audio explanations are provided in English plus three Innu dialects. You can grab a coffee and admire the wonderful view from the window.
